Marc Funder, our CEO, has a background as a skilled professional chef and has always found immense joy in his culinary career. When he got married to his lovely German wife, he couldn't help but yearn for the exceptional quality of meat he had grown accustomed to from his Irish family farm.

This longing led Marc to embark on a journey, and in November 2015, he established Gourmet Experts—a company dedicated to sourcing and delivering gourmet meat and fish products from Ireland to various parts of Europe. Driven by the desire to rekindle a passion for carefully chosen products and to introduce a new and unparalleled tasting experience, Gourmet Experts has been consistently delivering premium quality products throughout Europe, all the while maintaining competitive pricing.

Marc's inspiration for Gourmet Experts came about as he found himself increasingly approached by friends and acquaintances intrigued by his connections to Irish family farms specializing in Angus cattle.
